Hi there— this update makes your card details more useful, your transaction history easier to read, and sending crypto to multiple people much faster. Here's what's new:

🏧 ATM Withdrawals

  • Maximum per withdrawal: $500
  • Maximum withdrawals per day: 3 (per 24h)

No separate weekly or monthly limit. Your general Kolo account limits still apply in addition to these card limits.

💵 Fees

  • ATM withdrawal: $1.00 + 0.65% of the withdrawal amount
  • Balance inquiry: $0.60
  • Declined ATM transaction: $0.60

Example: withdraw $100 → fee = $1.00 + 0.65% × $100 ($0.65) = $1.65 total.

The fee is applied at the time of the ATM transaction and deducted from your card balance.

💡 Good to know: if you withdraw in a currency other than USD, standard currency conversion applies. Some ATMs may also charge their own on-screen surcharge, which is set by the ATM operator, not by Kolo.

If an ATM withdrawal doesn't go through, or you have questions about limits and fees, our support team is happy to help.

🚬 Tobacco & Cigar Shops Now Accepted for USD Cards

You can now use your Kolo USD card to pay at tobacco shops, cigar stores and stands. This merchant category (MCC 5993 — Cigar Stores and Stands) was previously blocked and is now enabled.

If a payment at this type of merchant still gets declined, let our support team know so we can look into it.

🎁 Earn Cashback & Rewards with Your Kolo EUR Card

Your Kolo EUR card comes with built-in perks — here's how to make the most of it.

💰 Cashback & referrals

  • 2% Bitcoin cashback on your purchases in the first month
  • 1% Bitcoin cashback on every purchase after that
  • Referral program: earn 40% of the fees Kolo makes on friends you invite

Spend in euros, stack a little Bitcoin on the side.

📝 Add Notes to Any Transaction

You can now leave a note on any transaction in your Kolo account — handy for keeping track of what a payment was for.

How it works

  • Add a note to any transaction directly from the transaction details
  • For personal accounts, the note is private — only you can see it
  • For business accounts, the note is visible to all users with access to that account
  • Your notes are also included when you export your CSV balance statement, so your records stay organized

A small feature, but a nice way to keep your transaction history clear and searchable.

💶 Meet the Kolo EUR card — one wallet, now in euros

Kolo gets a lot bigger. You can now open a EUR Visa Platinum card inside the app, and move euros in and out the way a real bank account would let you. Same single Kolo wallet — now it speaks euros too.

Let's walk through what's new and how to get it.

💳 The EUR card

A virtual Visa Platinum card in euros, issued from the app after a quick identity check.

  • Add it to Apple Pay or Google Pay and tap to pay like any card
  • Pay online and in store, anywhere Visa is accepted
  • No currency conversion when you spend in EUR — euros in, euros out
  • Top up your balance with crypto, instantly

Built for everyday euro spending: subscriptions, travel, groceries, online services.

🔄 One wallet, both currencies

There's no separate "euro wallet" to manage — it's the same Kolo wallet, and you just add a EUR card to it.

  • Already have a USD card? Open a EUR card alongside it and use both
  • Different currency for different needs — euros where it makes sense, dollars where it doesn't
  • New to Kolo? Pick EUR or USD at sign-up, then open the other anytime
  • Switch between cards in the app — no extra apps, no extra logins

Please note that EUR and USD card availability depends on your country eligibility.

⚡ How to get your EUR card — step by step

If you're new to Kolo:

  1. Open Kolo — the mobile app (App Store / Google Play) or the Telegram mini-app
  2. Pass a quick identity verification — have your ID ready, takes about 5 minutes
  3. Pick EUR card (if available) and pass the activation flow
  4. Your EUR Visa Platinum card is issued
  5. Add it to Apple Pay / Google Pay
  6. Start paying

If you already have a Kolo USD card:

1. Open the app — you're already verified

2. Go to your wallets and open a new one

3. Pass the activation flow for the EUR card

4. Top up, pay, and withdraw in euros right away

🎁 Cashback & referrals

  • 2% Bitcoin cashback on your purchases in the first month
  • Referral program: earn 40% of the fees Kolo makes on friends you invite

Spend in euros, stack a little Bitcoin on the side.

Card issuance, availability, limits and terms depend on your country and on identity verification under Kolo's rules.

Hi there, we’ve added faster access from your home screen, a clearer explanation for negative balances, new account documents, and an update for Web3 wallets.

📱 Kolo — right on your home screen

You can now add Kolo to your phone’s home screen and open it with one tap — no need to search for the website in your browser or download the app from the App Store or Google Play.

This is especially useful if the Kolo app is not available in your region’s app store yet, or if you simply want quicker access to Kolo every day.

Once added, the Kolo icon will appear on your home screen, and the web version will open in a separate app-like window.

How to add it:

  • On iPhone: open Kolo in Safari → tap Share → choose Add to Home Screen → tap Add.
  • On Android: open Kolo in Chrome → tap Install and confirm.

It takes less than a minute — and Kolo is always within reach.

💳 A clearer view of negative balances

If your balance goes negative after a card payment, Kolo will now show it directly on the home screen.

Tap “Why did my balance go negative?” to see which transactions affected your balance and why the negative amount appeared.

You can also use the Top Up button to add funds right away and continue using your card as usual.

📄 More docs in Statements & Confirmations

The Statement section is now called Statements & Confirmations.

We’ve added a clearer document selection screen and new document options:

  • Balance Statement — now available in PDF and CSV;
  • Card Statement — now available in PDF and CSV;
  • Balance Snapshot — a snapshot of your current balances;
  • Letter of Good Standing — confirmation of your account status, with an option to include balances.

Documents are sent to the email linked to your Kolo account. The download link is active for 24 hours.

🌐 Web3 wallet update

Balances from existing Web3 wallets are now included in your total balance on the home screen.

This gives you a clearer view of your funds across Kolo.

Creating new Web3 wallets is currently unavailable, but existing Web3 wallets remain available and continue to work as usual.

🧩 All your features in one place — Services

We've added a new Services section, the easiest place to see everything Kolo can do for you and unlock new features in just a few taps.

To find it: open your home screen → tap your profile icon → tap Services.

Inside, each feature shows a quick status so you always know where you stand:

Some features, like Transfer to any IBAN account, ask for a quick identity check before you start — it usually takes about several minutes.
